Octaviano “Tunga” Perez Ortiz, 78

 Octaviano  “Tunga” Pérez Ortiz Jr., 78, a loving husband, father, grandfather,

great grandfather, brother and friend was called to be with the Lord

Sunday October 2, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.

   Octaviano was born on June 20, 1944 to Octaviano Pérez Ortiz Sr. and

Dolores Pérez in Del Rio, Texas. In 1990 he was united in marriage with

the love of his life Rosa María Ponce. Octaviano loved spending time

with his family, but his grandchildren were everything to him. He was a

cowboy at heart, he loved his westerns and John Wayne. But above all,

spending time with the family, laughing and having a good time was his

happy place. His family was everything to him.

   He will be greatly missed.

    Octaviano is preceded in death by his parents, his daughters Tina

Belcarris and Anita Evans; his brothers Roy, Andrew, and Juan Ortiz; his

sisters Elida Cortínez, Virginia Flores and Lupe Ortiz.

   Those left to honor and celebrate his memory are his wife of over 32

years Rosa Maria Ortiz of Fort Worth; his children Lupe Ortiz of

Austin,Tx, Sandy Peters of Austin, Tx, Adriana Ortiz of Fort Worth,

Alejandro Ortiz and wife Malenna of Fort Worth and Tony Aguero and

wife Maria of Fort Worth; his 21 grandchildren and his 7 great-

grandchildren; his siblings Teresa Ortiz, Maria Deanda and Jose Ortiz of

Abilene, Tx. Along with many other extended family members and a

host of friends.

   Octaviano “ Tunga” Pérez Ortiz Jr. de 78 años, un amoroso esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hijo, hermano y amigo, fue llamado a estar con el Señor el 2 de Octubre del 2022 en Fort Worth, Texas.

   Octaviano nació el 20 de Junio de 1944 de Octaviano Pérez Ortiz Sr.  y Dolores Pérez en Del Rio, Texas.  En el año 1990 se unió en matrimonio con el amor de su vida Rosa María Ponce. Juntos empezaron su vida y familia.  A Octaviano le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia,  sus nietos eran todo para él. Él era un vaquero de corazón le encantaba ver las películas de vaqueros y John Wayne.  Sobre todo pasar tiempo y reunidos en familia era su mayor felicidad.  Su familia lo era todo para él.

   Se le extrañara mucho.

   Octaviano es precedido en muerte por sus padres, sus hijas Tina Belcarris y Anita Evans; sus hermanos Roy, Andrew, y Juan Ortiz; sus hermanas Elida Cortínez, Virginia Flores y Lupe Ortiz.

   Los que quedan para honrar y celebrar su memoria son su esposa de más de 32 años Rosa María Ortiz de Fort Worth; sus hijos, Lupe Ortiz, y Sandy Peters de Austin, Tx; Adriana Ortiz, Alejandro Ortiz y su esposa Malenna, Tony Aguero y su esposa María todos de Fort Worth; sus 21 nietos, sus 7 bisnietos; sus hermanos, Teresa Ortiz, María Deanda y José Ortiz de Abilene, Tx.  Junto con muchos otros miembros de la familia extendida y una gran cantidad de amigos.
