Obdulia nació de Guadalupe Escatel y Celia Castañeda Godina el día 22 de Febrero de 1956 en Jalisco, México. A ella le gustaba cocinar, ver sus novelas en la televisión, pero lo que ella más disfrutaba era pasar tiempo con sus nietos. Su familia era todo para ella.

Es precedida por su esposo amado Alberto Zamarripa Sr., sus padres Guadalupe Escatel y Celia Castañeda Godina, su hijo Alberto Zamarripa Jr. y sus hermanos Erasmo Escatel Gumaro Escatel.  

Se le extrañara mucho.Ellos que quedan para honrar y celebrar su memoria son sus hijos Martin Zamarripa y esposa Melissa; Eduardo Zamarripa, Víctor Zamarripa, Ricardo Zamarripa y esposa Ruby; sus hermanos, Rachel Escatel, Guadalupe Escatel, Oscar Escatel y Armando Escatel; junto a sus nietos Alexis Remigio y Alberto Zamarripa III a los cuales crio como si fuera sus propios hijos; adamas de sus otros nietos y bisnietos y una gran cantidad de familiares y amigos.

Obdulia Escatel Zamarripa, 65, from Fort Worth, Texas, a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, was called to be with the Lord on January 24, 2022 in ort Worth, Texas.

Obdulia was born to Guadalupe Escatel and Celia Castañeda Godina on February 22, 1956 in Jalisco, Mexico. She liked to cook, watch her soap operas on the television, but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her grandchildren. Her family was everything to her.

 She is preceded by her beloved husband Alberto Zamarripa Sr., her parents Guadalupe Escatel and Celia Castañeda Godina, her son Alberto Zamarripa Jr. and her brothers Erasmo Escatel Gumaro Escatel.

 She will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor and celebrate her memory are her sons Martin Zamarripa and wife Melissa; Eduardo Zamarripa, Victor Zamarripa, Ricardo Zamarripa and wife Ruby; her siblings, Rachel Escatel, Guadalupe Escatel, Oscar Escatel and Armando Escatel; Along with her grandchildren Alexis Remigio and Alberto Zamarripa III whom she raised as if they were his own children; she also had other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
