Michael John Bardis, 86 a loving husband, father, papou (grandfather) and friend went to be with the Lord November 9, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Michael was born on January 26, 1938 to Angela and John Michael Bardis in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1961, he moved to Midland, Texas where he met his future wife Judy Beth Gee. They married in Dallas, Texas on May 21, 1967. Michael proudly served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves from 1961 to 1967.
Michael enjoyed horticulture, photography and spending time in the mountains of northern New Mexico. He is remembered for his humor, contagious laugh, and ability to light up any room he entered. His presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him. Above all, Michael had an unwavering love for his family and close friends.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents John Michael Bardis and Angela Ioannou Bardis; brother Nick Bardis and sister-in-law Rosemary Bardis. May their memory be eternal.
Those left behind to cherish his loving memory is his wife of 57 years, Judy Bardis of Fort Worth; his daughters Joanna May of Lake Dallas and Beth Nikopoulos and husband Michael of Plano; his grandchildren, Alexander Michael Nikopoulos, Jordan Steele Nikopoulos, Zachary John Nikopoulos, and Hudson Michael Rush May. Along with numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
