Bowie ~Marvin Ray May, 84, a lifetime farmer, loving father, grandfather and brother went to be with the Lord March 10, 2020, in Bowie.
Marvin was born on November 11, 1935 in Leona, Texas to James Edmond May and Mallie Abigail Castilow. His family meant everything to him and always tried to take care of them. He enjoyed his bike riding to the age of 80, the adventures of fishing as much as he could and his love for his garden where he grew tomatoes and peppers which became the talk of the nursing home due to the magnitude and quality of his garden and that he would share the fruits of the labor with all.
He was proceeded in detah by his parents, his brothers James Andrew May, Joe Melvin May, John Doris May and his sister Ruthie Jewel Sharp.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters Charline Catherine Sheets of Fort Worth and MallieMaxine McEachern and husband Sean David of Rhome; his brother Willie Pleas May; his sister Bessie Lorraine; his grandchildren Manual Ray Leal, James David Leal, Angel Dawn Hilton and husband Tim LeRoy, Kevin John Olivarez and wife Sandy Kay, Donald Dean Funk, ShealynLeighanne McEachern, Faith Danielle McEachern, Tanner James McEachern and Patience Nicole McEachern; his great grand children Kyler Issac Leal, Sierra Cheyenne Hilton, Brodie James Hilton, Maddison Nicole Olivarez and Trevor Wayne Oliverez.
