Fort Worth ~ Maria Adela Uribe , 71, a wife, mother, grandmother, passed on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Hawkins Family Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Hawkins Family Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Maria was born on June 26, 1947 to Ruben Medrano and Adela (Jacobo), in Mexico. She was united in marriage to Onesimo C. Uribe  on April 1, 1967 in Acuna, Mexico.  She was a very loving and caring person, who loved her family dearly.  She enjoyed having family and friends around and had a tender heart for everyone she knew, along with being a devoted Christian and loyal servant to Jehovah.  Maria would provide her sewing skills to help the less fortunate by making clothing and donating them to others for the benefit of giving to those in need.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Maria Antonia Nunez; brothers Ruben and Jose Maria.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years Onesimo C. Uribe of Fort Worth; her sons: Jose Uribe & wife Paula of Haltom City, Ruben Uribe & wife Lorena of Fort Worth, Lorenzo Uribe of Fort Worth and son in law Luis Nunez of Haltom City; her Grand Children: Valerie, Alex, Steve, Natalie, Lorianna, Kristian, Belinda, Alejandra, Lilyana; her Great Grand Children: Brooklyn, Esmeralda, George, Sophia, Anthony, Luis, Jesus, Fernanda; her brother Reymundo Medrano & wife Lucy of San Antonio; her sisters: Marina Lira of Fort Worth, Juanita Molina & husband Miguel of Fort Worth, Alicia Cerna of Del Rio, Lilia Ramos of Fort Worth, and many extended family members and a host of friends.
