Julia Nunez, 73

Julia “Judy” H. Nunez 73, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday January 24, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Julia was a lifelong residence of Fort Worth. She enjoyed spending time with her family having cookouts and parties. Julia had 5 children, 23 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Her door was always opened to anyone, and she welcomed them in to sit and talk. She loved to listen to music and would always dance a few songs throughout the night. She was an excellent cook, and her mashed potatoes were the best. She enjoyed collecting anything and everything she could. She will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her husband Juan F. Nunez; her mother Eva Alvarez; and her father Tony Y. Herrera.

Those left to honor and celebrate her memory are her sons: Delfino Garcia III; Daniel Meza and wife Leticia; Stepson: Juan F. Nunez Jr.; her daughters: Virginia Martinez and husband Carlos Sr.; Juanita Deleon; Nati Rosas. She also raised Manuel Herrera and Victoria Garcia. Along with numerous extended family members and a host friends.
