Juan “Johnny” Ruiz, 71, of Fort Worth, a father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went to be with our Lord on Friday May 31, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Juan was born to Jose Vasquez Ruiz and Angela Gallardo on September 7, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a family man who enjoyed any chance he was able to be around family, especially his grandkids. When he wasn’t around family, he was out driving around infamous Northside with friends or hanging out with them. When it came to sports teams he was through and through a Texas man, he loved his Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. Juan loved his family dearly but at times his true love was his Pomeranian dog “Daisy”, which some family would say he loved his dog more. Juan was a Godly man who loved to read his Bible daily and had a strong relationship with God. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John Frausto, his sister Gloria Delgado, his grandson Marcus Lozano, great grandson Christopher Perales and nephew in-law John Galvan Sr.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children John “Nino” Ruiz, Lisa Ruiz and Amanda "Mandy" Ortiz and husband Emmanuel; his grandchildren Patrick Ruiz, Jayden Ruiz, Josiah Ruiz, Israel Ruiz, Amber Livar, Alyssa Soto, Christopher Lozano, Jayden Ortiz and Lucas Ortiz; his great grandchildren Isaac Martinez, Sebastian Lopez and Alianna Zavala; his siblings Joe Ruiz and wife Vanessa, Frank Ruiz and wife Susana, Jesse Ruiz and wife Lala, Gloria Frausto, Romelia Frausto, Annie Enriquez, Josie Peña and sister in-law Mary Frausto; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
