Lake Worth

Jonathan “Johnny” Vargas, 38, of Lake Worth, son, father, grandson, brother, and friend, went to be with our Lord on March 24, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jonathan was born on December 27, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Eladio Vargas and Magdalena Hernandez. Jonathan had many hobbies. He was the coach of his daughters' soccer team, the most important thing to him. As a single father, he learned how to father girls, how to comb their hair, paint their nails, and how to apply makeup.  Jonathan had the privilege of being the one assisting his daughter's mom to welcome his daughter Jordan in his living room when she gave birth. He liked to fish, and his eleven-year-old neighbor was always waiting for him to go fishing with Jonathan. He was a food fanatic, which allowed him to explore the world of food with his girls. Jonathan was a car and truck enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by Salvador Hernandez, Martin Chavez, Eliseo Cansino, Maria Concepcion Corona, and Eliseo Cansino, Jr.

Those who stayed to celebrate and honor his memory are his parents, Eladio Vargas and Magdalena Hernandez; daughters, Delilah, Jordan and Clarity; his grandmother, Antonia Del Real; siblings, Deisi Guerrero, Egriselda Vargas and Diego Valenzuela, and a host of family and friends.
