Jessie Lamar Talbert

Jessie Lamar Talbert was born 24 February 1982 in Landstuhl, Germany to Donald & Virginia Talbert and passed away on July 13, 2024 in Crowley, Texas. Jessie was the youngest of his siblings and lived a life marked by service, love, and dedication. 

He graduated from high school in Burkburnett, Texas in 2000. After graduation, Jessie served his country in the United States Air Force for eight years in Avionics. He spent several years in Korea, where he met his beloved fiancée. Jessie’s service to his country was a testament to his bravery and commitment. After his military service, Jessie continued to excel in his professional life and spent time as a truck driver before getting back into electronics, and was currently working at Ericsson in Lewisville, Texas.

Known for his curiosity and love of learning, he taught himself to play the guitar, sharing his music with family. Jessie also had a passion for cooking, often delighting loved ones with his culinary creations. Jessie was an enthusiast of cars and took great pride in his own, spending countless hours perfecting and maintaining it. His car was a symbol of his meticulous nature and dedication to his hobbies.

Jessie is survived by his loving parents, two sisters Alea Talbert & Tonya (Myron) Hills, brother Donald Talbert, seven nieces Sabre, Kyoni, Zhanel, Sophia, Masyn, Quinlyn & Audrei, three nephews Gabriel, DeVonta & Zakari and many other aunts, uncles & cousins. He had recently gotten engaged to Hai Sook Kim, bringing immense joy to his family and fiancée. 

Jessie’s kindness, humor, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. His family and friends will forever treasure the time they had with him, holding onto the memories of his laughter, love & legacy. Jessie will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
