Guadalupe Barajas

September 5, 1963 — December 12, 2020

Guadalupe Barajas

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Guadalupe “Lupita” Barajas, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend on Saturday, December 12th , 2020.

Lupita was born September 5th , 1963 in Reedley, California to Constancio and Maria Castro, the third of 7 children. She grew up in south Texas before moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to attend college, where she graduated as a Medical Assistant and later met her future husband while working in that field.

On August 18th , 1990 Lupita married Joel Barajas, her husband of 30 years, and together raised 2 children – Jonathan 28, and Jackie 25. In addition to being a homemaker and volunteering in her church, she enjoyed sewing and DIY projects, most of which were lovingly made as gifts for others.

She will be greatly missed.

Lupita is preceded in death by her brother, Arturo.

Those left to honor and celebrate her memory are her husband Joel, children Jonathan and Jackie, and her parents Constancio and Maria. She is also survived by her brothers Tito, Fernando, Joe, Jesse, and her sister Katherine, as well as many other extended family members and a host of friends.

We mourn her passing but celebrate her life, and we invite all to share the memories they cherish of her. May the ripples of her love continue to spread and touch the lives of others.
