Evelyn Ruth Flanagan

Evelyn Ruth Flanagan, 63, of Fort Worth, a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, mother to many, and friend went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2024, in Lake Worth, Texas.

Evelyn was born to Everitt Edwards Williams and Donna Faye Millsap on February 13, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas. Evelyn was united in marriage to Rodney Glen Flanagan on November 10, 1976, in Mansfield, Texas. She was known for her giving heart, anytime someone asked she helped them, and her door was always open. Evelyn loved and helped raise sixteen children, some neighborhood kids who became part of her family. Evelyn worked at Diamond Shamrock for 26 years and enjoyed being able to interact with the public. When it came to being involved with something she also had a heart for being able to donate to Muscular Dystrophy Association. Evelyn was a strong Christian woman who loved the Lord, later in life she watched many different preachers on TV to be able to continue hearing the word of God. 

Evelyn was preceded in death by Grandma Johnnie; her brother Junior; her sisters Bobbie and Brenda; Delena Kammerdiener and Kyle.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving 48 years husband Rodney Flanagan; her children Angie Baker and husband Corey, Dustin Flanagan and wife Amy, Brandy Huckabee, and Azie Huckabee; her adopted kids Becky, Ashley, and Alex; her grandchildren Shae Olge, Bailey Baker, Tyler Flanagan, Brody Flanagan, Aaron, and Zabian; her great-grandchildren Kasen, Parker and Haisley Faye; sister, Suzette Farmer, Pamela Murry; along with numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
