Emiliano Zapata Jr.

Emiliano Zapata Jr. 18, a loving son, brother, and friend, went to be with the lord on July 6th, 2020.

Emiliano was born June 2nd, 2002 to Emiliano Zapata and Jessica Sandoval in Fort Worth, Texas. Emiliano Zapata Jr., better known to his family and friends as EJ, was a fighter his whole life. He had been fighting off sickle cell anemia for 18 wonderful years. E.J was the oldest of his nine siblings and the best big brother any of them could ask for. EJ had two loving parents and two wonderful step- parents, Nano and Sarah. He lived with his mom, three sisters, his brother, who was his best friend. EJ loved spending time at his dad’s with his brothers and little sister playing volleyball, basketball, and some video games. He had a smile that lit the room and his shy, but quirky, personality  left its mark here in all our hearts. EJ just celebrated his 18th birthday with family and friends and his last was just as memorable as his 1st. He will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish and celebrate his memory are his parents and younger siblings, Carlos, Christian, Julie, Jacob, Isaiah, Khloe, David, Anita, and Brooklynn. As well as many other extended family members and a host of friends.
