Apolonio “Big Mike” Campos Jr., 41, of Fort Worth, a loving son,
brother, grandson, uncle, and friend passed away on August 28,
2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Apolonio Jr. was born to Apolonio Campos and Alicia Zapata on
March 20, 1980, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was always full of
energy and life of the party. All that knew called him by his nick
name ‘Big Mike”. Big Mike enjoyed listening to Oldie’s music,
cooking out with his family and friends and watching movies, his
favorite movie being Break Dancing. His favorite baseball teams
was the Texas Rangers and favorite football team was the
Carolina Panthers. Apolonio dedicated his time to coaching a
Little League team, which he enjoyed tremendously.
He will be greatly missed.
Apolonio was proceeded in death by his grandparents Martin and Maria Zapata and his grandfather Ricardo Campos.
Those who are left to honor and celebrate his memory are his loving parents Apolonio Campos of San Antonio and Alicia Campos of Fort Worth; his sister Nayomi Huerta and her husband Guillermo of Decatur; his niece’s Victoria Campos of San Antonio and Maribel Huerta of Decatur; his great nephews Mateo Cain Rodriguez and Myles E Rodriguez; his grandparents Juanita Barajas and Jesus Barajas of Fort Worth; and great aunt Clara Z Lopez along with numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
